Moving Sleeper Sofass

Not everyone has these sofas that also become beds, but if you do have one and you’re about to move, this is one of the most difficult to get out of your home, especially if there are stairs involved.

One of the best ways to go around this is to semi-disassemble your sleeper sofa. It would be good if you’re the type to keep manuals, so you can disassemble some parts to make it lighter and easier to transport. The cushions can most often be removed so these are the first things you should try to take off the sleeper sofa. Without the cushions, it will be easier to transport the sleeper sofa as it will be much lighter. You can also try to look at the other parts that can be easily removed and put back together. If you have a moving company, you can ask for their advice as they are more experienced in this. If you are transporting this by yourself, be sure to bring a friend or two with you as one person cannot possibly move a sleeper sofa. Be careful as well to avoid hurting yourself and use thick gloves to protect your hands. If you are using rope, try to put some padding to protect the material of the sofa.
