Unpacking Tips - The Key To Smooth Removal It can be difficult to prepare your belongings for the moving day, but it is really not an easier job to unpack them. There is nothing more frustrating than searching for hours for a dish soap or a towel. When packing to move to a new home there are several rules one should follow. One of these rules is preparing essential boxes. These are items, which you will need your last few nights before moving and the first couple of days in your new home.

This should in fact be the last box you will pack and the first one to unpack. This is why, it is a good idea while packing your other stuff, to try to organize and identify the essential items. These are the items, that will enable you to provide small meals, clean while you unpack the rest of your home.

 Some people don't realize how important essential box, so they don't prepare one. But just think about the first days at your place, when everything is in boxes and you have to unpack half of them immediately to find  stuff that you need. Remember that packing is not the last thing you should do, there is an unpacking after that. This is why, you should make it easier for you to unpack by following some simple tips when packing. For example, label your boxes and prepare an essential box to take with you.

You can put everything you think you will need in this essential boxes, but there are a couple of things you simply must pack, such as: toilet paper, dish soap, dish towel, toothpaste, toothbrush, toaster, snacks, beverage, knives, forks, spoons, plates, clothes, radio. These are the items, which I think are important. It would be easier for you to prepare your essential box if you have a listed all the items and appliances you will need.

When you move to your new home, remember that the first box to open should be your essential box.

Unpacking can be really stressful, if you fail to follow the following rules:
First: When you are done with packing, label each box to easily determine what was inside when you unpack. You may also write an inventory list, which will help you decide which box to open first when you unpack. Inventory list will help you also keep track of  your belongings to make sure that nothing is lost on the moving day.

Second: Boxes which contain cleaning materials and tools , should be among the first ones to be unpacked. You will need those to clean up each room when you have unpacked it. Don't forget to lay blankets on the floor where items will be placed.Otherwise your new home could become a mess from all the boxes.

Third: Boxes, which contain perishable goods should be unpacked next,because you need to put them on the fridge.
The next boxes to unpack should be the ones , which contain fragile items, such as mirrors and glasses. Don't leave these boxes on the floor , because you risk breaking them when moving other boxes.

Last but not least, unpack bedroom items, like clothes and other accessories for your bedroom.

This is just an example of the list of  stuff you should unpack first when you move to your new place. The important thing is to have a list of your own with all the items you will need. Every household is different, you might possess things which are not mentioned here, but you know you will need them.
