Equip Yourself for a Move Equip Yourself for a Move Having the right equipment is important when moving, as having the right kind of tools and equipment are a big help in making the move run smoother, faster, and easier. First up of course, are the boxes. Boxes come in different shapes and sizes, so it's up to you to decide what kind of box you will need. One tip is to over stock on boxes a bit so that you can be sure that you won't run out of them in case of any emergencies. Also make sure not to reach a box's maximum weight limit - instead, leave a couple of pounds of allowance so that you can be sure that the box won't tear of get destroyed easily. You can opt to buy new boxes or rent / buy used or recycled ones. Other materials you should equip yourself with for a move are bubble wrap and packing peanuts, which serve as buffers and shock absorbers for your things. Bubble wrap and packing peanuts are especially important when you're handling breakable items, as these will minimize breakage or damage. For transport, there are trolleys, which you can pile boxes on so you can just wheel multiple boxes at a time (boxes you could never possibly carry all at the same time) to the truck or whatever moving vehicle you're using. Trolleys are important because they make the work less laborious and much more efficient.
