Removal work is meat and drink to us, and our goal is to make your house move as easy and stress-free as possible!. If you are planning a move and want to make sure everything is above board, and that your possessions are in safe hands then contact 020 3743 9354 and talk to Man and Van, a removal company based in DA11.
Our company provides removal services to a full range of home owners, landlords, tenants, students and businesses based in and around the Gravesend and Northfleet areas of Kent. Our service is tailored to your specific requirements, which means that we can be as hands on as you need us to. If you need help packing and unpacking then just ask and we will gladly help - we will even supply the packaging and boxes if you ask nicely enough!.
The delivery staff we employ will always go the extra mile to make sure you receive the most efficient and helpful service. We can always find a way of squeezing the chunkier bits of furniture through the small doorways, and if this necessitates dismantling anything, that is what we will do before rebuilding it later. We will always be sure to pack up your belongings safely - so you don't have to worry about the wine glasses being smashed or that ornamental vase your mum bought you for Christmas getting chipped in the delivery van!.
We work very flexible hours and that means we can move you at weekends so that you don't need to take holiday. Businesses who need out of hours removal services can count on us - we are happy to take on jobs of all sizes and no load is too great or too small for us - we'll be sure to supply the right kind of transport and the necessary number of workers. We can move you and your belongings to any UK destination.
Our company serves the DA11 postal area, which includes sunny Gravesend and Northfleet. Gravesend is based on the banks of the River Thames' estuary and it is here that you can enjoy some true seaside attractions!. Gravesend has the oldest iron pier in the UK - the Town Pier - and the old girl still stands strong to enable visitors to enjoy the sea air on those sunny afternoons. If you ever want to mix it up a little, head along the shore to Royal Terrace Pier. For there you can head inland just a little and take a lovely stroll around the Terrace Pier Gardens, or head further down the coast along the Saxon Shore Way.
If you want to enjoy more of the scenery, you can head out of town to Windmill Hill - a hill set right by the sea offering lovely views up and down the coast and towards London. Our little bit of coastline is actually quite famous in the world of story-telling - Charles Dickens lived in the area once, and it was this stretch of the seaside which inspired him to write some of the scenes from Great Expectations - the film of which has recently come out.
The town itself has the oldest surviving market in the UK but it caters for the young crowd just as much!. Whilst you're out shopping in Gravesend check out St George's Churchyard - there you will find a statue of Pocahontas - a legend in these parts!. You will also come across our beautiful clock tower, and if you look sharp there are the remains of a Roman fort in the Fort Gardens in town. One other thing we are quite proud of here is the fact that the highest recorded temperature in the UK was in this area of Kent - 38.7 degrees Celsius on 10th August 2003 - why head to the Med when you can spend your summer here in Gravesend?.
If you want to move in or around DA11 and could use an extra hand or two, then contact us and we will sort you out!.
