There are many notable landmarks, facilities and amenities in the area some of these include the popular Horniman Museum which has a large collection of  anthropology, natural history and musical exhibits, The Hob Public House that hosts various live acts and the Brockley Jack Theatre that is home to a wide variety of events and activities such as dancing, snooker, music, plays, workshops and more. Local sports teams include Crofton Park F.C and there are local health and fitness centres in the area. Forest Hill library in over one-hundred years old and is a Grade II listed building.
