House moves and office moves can be difficult to arrange and whilst many people try and do it themselves to save money, it can be a nightmare if you don’t have good experience of lifting, manoeuvring and safely transporting your property. Moving is a stressful business and that is why it is better to save the hassle and difficulty of moving your own items, and let a professional removal company take up the slack.
Man and Van offers a removal service to business owners, home owners, tenants and landlords in the CB3 area. Our customers benefit from a highly professional and efficient removal team, who will be despatched appropriately depending on the quantity of items you want moving, along with a suitably sized vehicle. This ensures that your costs are kept down whilst the quality of our service remains high.
Our removal staff are highly trained and experienced and can capably transport and deliver a full range of items – beds, sofas, computers, chandeliers and picture frames will all be handled carefully, and stacked appropriately to ensure minimal risk of damage. Our staff will always find a way of moving the largest items through those narrow doorways and stairwells, and you can rest assured that your property is in safe hands.
No UK destination is out of range for us, and as our removal staff work flexible hours, we are on hand to complete house moves and office moves out of hours, including evenings and weekends.
Our removal business serves the entire CB3 postal area which includes North-west Cambridge and Girton. Girton is a small but beautiful village outside Cambridge and has roots dating back to the pre-Saxon era. It is here that you should come if you are enamoured by traditional thatched cottages and historic buildings of the most picturesque variety. The village is notable for its curious welcome sign which was constructed back in the days when travellers came by horse and cart, and the Church of St Andrews, again ancient and beautifully constructed, dominates the village centre.
Cambridge meanwhile is of course famous for its university – one of the best in the world. Its colleges are each based in a different historic building and this makes the town one of the best preserved in the UK. Aside from the university, there is much to do and see in Cambridge. You can take a punt on the River Cam or head to Cambridge Castle, which is a ruin but open to the public, built on a mound of land close to the city centre and dating back to the times of the Romans. Chesterton Tower is another nearby building of interest.
If you are looking for the great outdoors, a visit to Hayley Woods will give you peace and quiet in the countryside. Much of the land around the town is arable and fairly flat but nonetheless the Fens, so named because of their elevation being below sea level, are definitely a must for visitors – there are exhibitions and public walkways for you to enjoy. Another natural feature situated in the area is the Gog Magog region – hills which offer spectacular views and popular amongst walkers. There is also an historic quarry based in the area which has been preserved due to its historical significance, and therefore history enthusiasts will find no end of places to marvel at in Cambridge and around the CB3 area.
Any resident, tenant, landlord, student or business based in the CB3 region can call on us to help you with your removal needs. All we will need is a parking space which can be pre-booked at here. Our contact number is 020 3743 9354 and we look forward to your call!
